Practice: Shiny Stockings
Choreography to a tune Shiny Stockings played by Count Basie Orchestra. The tune was composed by Frank Foster, saxophonist and musical director of the Count Basie orchestra, in 1955. This was the only tune Foster wrote and it was a flop in the first rehearsal yet Basie kept playing it and it got better and better. Shiny Stocking was one of the favorite tunes of Frankie Manning, The Ambassador of Lindy Hop.
