Where to start!? Sometimes we don’t know where to even start when it comes to improvisation. We know some steps and figures, but we don’t know how to connect them. As a result our dance becomes just a collection of steps stuck together. In this chapter we would learn “back words”. By de-constructing the “figures” and really understanding what they are, we can freely play with them. We will discover a “dance glue” that will seamlessly connect and make sense of all the steps, create a flow.
